Private life is more and more dependant on mobile technology as means of communication migrate from offices and meeting rooms to private homes. Lack of immediate contact, especially for young people, might mean social ostracism.

Last week I was in the Tatra Mountains. I went there with my friends Kate and John. We got to Zakopane by car. We lived at a boarding house very near the centre of Zakopane, and spent nearly all of our time in the mountains hiking, getting up early in the morning and going hiking right after breakfast.  The first day we were so tired that we did not get to go to the mountains but just went for a walk along Krupówki. On the second day we went to Kościelec, which is located at an altitude of 2155 m a.s.l., and then on Wednesday, we visited the Kościeliska Valley. On the fourth day we went on a trip to Tatralandia, which is an aqua park located in Slovakia. During our five-hour stay we rode the slides, swam in the pools and suntanned. On Friday we climbed Rysy. This is a mountain with its highest peak at 2503 m a.s.l. The route was quite long, tiring and a little dangerous but great satisfaction was our reward for the climb. The view was magnificent and that is why I took quite a few pictures.

My favorite program is the Millionaire show. There you can win some money, but you must have knowledge in all directions. Whenever I watch a program attempts to answer the questions in it. Once I managed to get to the questions for two hundred thousand, but still do not know the answer to the questions. I recommend everyone, great fun!

The story in my earliest memory

When I was young I drove to the mountains with my parents. We were sleeping in a household with very nice old people. There were a lot of animals cows, horses, sheep and hens. One day we went to the forest to bring some mushrooms for supper. We decided to do a little break. When we were sitting on the grass suddenly I saw a bull. I didn’t see this animal before and I wanted to have a photo with it. I was going to it. Unexpected when I was very near it started to run towards me. The bull wasn’t bind! The animal was upset and howled very loud. I had only seven years and bull was much faster than me. I was screaming. It was going very fast but luckily my father held me and jumped into the river. The animal stayed ashore.
I don’t want to think what would happen if my dad didn’t help me.

My holiday is a reminder of the Red Sea scallop. It is very precious to me, so gave her name as it sounds Pereleczka. I hold it well in a very orderly and visible. It is a showcase in which you keep your medals and trophies from sports competitions. The shell looks like a "ordinary shell" but not for me. It is light purple and is decorated with beautiful, golden patterns. I have never seen such a softer shell. You can hear the wonderful sound of the sea. This is a great souvenir! Ever since I found it brings me luck! I hope it never lets me go! It's a wonderful specimen!

Being a famous person

Many of people say that being a famous person is very important in our life and without them the world will be bored. They believe that working hard is the only way to success in life. But being a famous person cause lots of problems.
The light side of being a famous person is that it is very interesting and wonderful. The major advantage of this is that they hae lots of money and they can afford many things such as a huge house or a fast car. What is more, a famous person is admired and a role model. Their life style is higher and very rich. On the other hand famous people have lots of problems and this situation leads to finish their career. First of all, the public want to know everything so paparazzi fallow them everywhere and they haven't got privacy. They have often problems with alcohols, drags and their families because they spend few time at home so they feel very unhappy.
As far as I am concerned that being a famous person is not important in our life. Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.

Environment protection

Although from time to time scientists announce that they have found a planet, which is similar to Earth, it is not very likely that we could leave our planet in the near future. There is not any better place to live in our solar system.All of the hypothetical destinations are very far away and moving there is not possible yet.  Our planet is beautiful and leaving it does not sound like a brilliant idea. Probably most of us would never consider living somewhere else. Unfortunately, it may turn out that our preferences will not be the most important factor. The Earth can be so devastated that it will not be a friendly habitat neither for us nor for other creatures.
Along with the development of human societies, we could observe the ongoing destruction of our planet. As a result, the environment has suffered a lot. Our rivers and seas are more contaminated than ever, the air is being polluted heavily and we may soon run out of natural resources. This is only the tip of the iceberg, though. The problems are so severe and there are so many of them that in a few years we might completely destroy nature. This, in turn, can be very harmful for us....

Today we are cooking delicious pizza!

Easy Pizza Recipe
Dough:
Ingredients (for 4 people)
• 1 cup of warm water
• 3 1/2 cups of flour
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• 2 teaspoons of honey
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1 teaspoon of yeast
Method:
1. Put warm water into a bowl. Add salt and honey and mix with a spoon. Add yeast, mix and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
2. add flour and olive oil and start mixing.
3. Let it sit for about another hour.
4. Put on some tomato sauce.
5. Put on your pizza topping (some green peppers, mushrooms, ketchup, cheese, sausage, salt and pepper)
6. Bake the pizza in you oven at 200 C for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Interesting place

Last Saturday while I was walking with a dog around my village I saw an interesting building which could be a new tourist attraction.
It is a post-war building which used to be a sugar factory. It is located near two paths and a huge forest.
During the Second World War the factory probably looked better than now. The building is destroyed nowdays. The windows are without glass. There are also two factory chimneys with a big yellow sign. It is the name of factory `Polish Sugar`. You can easly climb on a chimney and see a landscape. There are not any doors so you can also enter inside and see a lot of broken machines.
I think that a village council should rebuild the building because it has a great location and it is strictly connected with history. For example, there could be a museum in it. I am sure that it would be an interesting tourist atraction but a lot of work is needed before it.

Diet

In my opinion a proper diet not only prolongs our life but also helps us enjoy good health. When we are obese, our average life expectancy reduced of nine year and we are more likely to get cancer, heart diseases and diabets. That's why more and more people decide to go on diet. People, especially young girls, think that must lost their weight. Going on a diet is good when we do this for health, but when someone is slim it is very dangerous.
I think that are benefits and many risks going to a diet. People are feeling healthier and more happy when they have lost weight. They are often diabetics, so diet is very important for them. People who eat healthy food can be strong because vegetables have vitamins which human's body needs. Good diet influence for lenght our life.

There are same disadvantage diet too. It is or example high risk of osteoporosis- people don't eat proteins. They are lethargic and tired, can't work so intensively and long.
On balance, I think that good diet is very important but we must consult this with a doctor. We should have a lot of determination and inner power. Going on a diet is a test of our pesonality and presistence.

A job should mean a job for life

Some people ask: 'Does the job for life still exist?'. I think it does. However more and more employees consider a career change. Recent researches prove that in the United States 1 out of 5 people changes job every year, although in some countries the amount is much higher. So does a job should mean a job for life? In my opinion, everything is up to you and your destiny and circumstances.
Oriana Fallaci – an Italian journalist and a writer – once said: 'Glory is a heavy burden, a murdering poison, and to bear it is an art. And to have that art is rare'. It is beyond any doubt that if you are an artist, you  always be one. I do believe in fate. This is why I think that people like artists, doctors, teacers, policemen or firemen are just meant to do what they do.

Should bikes replace cars?

In my opinion the idea that bikes should replace cars has got a lot of advantages. The examples of China and Holland prove that it is possible to make a bike a popular means of communication. A bike is quicker than a car which got stuck in a traffic jam. It is smaller than a car and easier to manoeuvre unlike its big brother. Apart from that, a bike does not require a lot of parking space. You can park everywhere. It is relatively light and you can carry it when necessary. What is more, it makes no noise. In contrast to cars, bikes do not need fuel and so do not produce poisonous fumes. This is extremely important if we think how polluted our environment is. Riding also helps you stay fit.

There are, however some drawbacks. A poor system of routes for bikes is one thing that discourages potential cyclists. The other is our climate. It is difficult to ride a bike all the year round. We have to travel by car in autumn and winter.

An ideal neighbour

We all have some neighbours. Some of us live door to door with others, some have more distant 'company' - particularly these who live in detached houses.
Generally, neighbourhood is seemed to be useful but in some cases it may be really nasty. People sometimes are very inquisitive, especially old women, they might poke their noses into our affairs. Furthermore, youth may be very noisy - they can listen to the music extremely loudly or often give some crazy parties.
We may complain about our noisy, rude neighbours, but there is no better way of prevent burglars from breaking into your flat than having watchful neighbours. A good, sincere person living around can protect us from theft and disaster.
So I think that a nice, kind-hearted neighbour is a treasure. When you are preparing a meal and suddenly it occurs to you that you are lacking in salt or flour, such an ideal person will lend you anything you ask. Moreover, the good neighbour can look after your child for a while, run errands when you are ill. Besides, it's nice just to drop in for a chat to your neighbour or ask for her/his advice.

What is truly important cannot be bought

Needless to say, money does not guarantee happiness. Many striving for financial enrichment have become convinced that all that matter in life is priceless. I do not follow any philosophy of life, though I am inclined to believe that the most meaningful wealth is immaterial. Firstly, love and friendship are the most valuable principles for a human being as he had been created to live among people. Secondly, health is also very crucial in life because not only do deadly diseases attack the poor but also the wealthy. And finally, life is not sold on the market. If you knew that your days are counted, you would probably spend the last days with your family rather than acquire some fantastic gadget you have always dreamed to have.
On the other hand, so important role does the money play in modern world that nobody could say it does not matter.
All things considered, it appears to me that the value of immaterial goods prevails over the account balance. It is high time our civilization changed its consumptive way of life and focused on what is crucial in fulfilled life.

Sunday is unique day

For many people Sunday is that day when they can visit their families or devote themselves to praying. Yet there is something more to say about Sunday.
First and foremost, traffic is not so heavy as on week days. For instance, I leave my house and go across the street where I observe almost no cars. There is quiet everywhere, because people stay at home rather than struggle with everyday problems. On Sunday people want to go for a walk to a park on foot than by car.
Secondly, people are in the habit of being lazy on Sunday. They know that after the whole week of work the last day of the weekend is devoted to relaxing. On the other hand some people enjoy reading a book the whole day. They drink tea and sit on their balcony or go off into the blue where they can be completely alone. This is the way that helps them to recharge their batteries.
To sum up, Sunday is one of a kind day when we can rest from traffic and switch ourselves off.

Favourite kind of music

I like listening to music. I don't know what I would do if there was no music. Whatever I do the radio is beside me. I don't have any specifications of what I listen to. The only kind of music I really can't stand is Polish "disco polo". Apart from this, I tolerate all other sorts of music. I like sit down in my armchair and turn on my stereo. I usually listen to the radio but if there is nothing interesting on I put a CD in a slot and play music loudly. Sometimes my neighbours are really angry with me about disturbing them.

My favourite pet

I love animals. Some people keep reptiles in their homes. I think it's stupid. People should keep only those animals which are made to live in captivity. Dogs are very friendly and don't suffer when they live with people. I have a dog myself. She is called Tina. She is huge, black, pedigree sheepdog. She has her own kennel. Generally, she lives in in the garden, but during the winter, she is allowed to spend the night in the house. She is a good dog. When Tina sees a stranger she always barks so all the family know that there is something wrong going on. When I come back from school she always welcomes me wagging her tail. She is the best dog I could ever had. I wouldn't change her for any dog in the world.

Each of us has a vision of his ideal life. Some people would be satisfied only with having an ordinary job and their own little house. As for me, when it comes to earnings, I am more ambitious than to live in a tiny flat.
In my ideal life I can afford a big house with a georgeus garden and a swimming pool. I have a well-paid job which fulfils my ambitions, for instance in a small company. If my wishes came true, I could be proud of my accomplishments and my children would never have to say they do not have enough money to buy something.
Despite writing about such vision of my ideal life, I do not hesitate to say that my present life is perfect. However, one should aim high to fulfil their dreams

Unlucky trip

Last Friday I was going to the seaside with my friends. It was already dark and some of my friends, Agnes and Ryan, had already felt asleep. I was talking with the one who was driving, Mark. I was drinking a can of Cola and he asked me to give him some. I gave him the can but unfortunately it suddenly dropped out of his hand and we skidded. Both of us shouted and others woke up with fear in their eyes. They didn't know what was happening and it was so dark that we were scared to stiff, the more so because we hit something. "Oh my God, we knocked someone over!" shouted Agnes "What will we do now?! What will we do?!" I told her to calm down and said that it might have been the piece of a tree or a stone but she was shocked and didn't want to believe it. We got out of the car and was trying to seek for a person or an animal we had hit. After a while Mark noticed a pushchair in a distance of a few metres and we were convinced that we had killed a baby. While we were running up to it, Agnes fainted and Ryan had to stay to revive her. Mark and I approached the pushchair and... to our relief it was only a pushchair with a doll. It turned out that some girl had left it on the rode and had forgotten to take it home. We knocked on the door of a nearby house and told what had happened. The girl's mother apologized to us for problems and suggested that we stayed overnight and set out on a journey in the morning. We agreed, rested, and continued our journey.

New Restaurant

20th of August a new restaurant on Krakowska street in Tarnow was opened. It was called "Bristol". The opening started at 10 am. First visitors had chance to benefit from promotional discount. The first meal was for free. After two hours chef came around with a large cream cake. Every client got a piece of it. The restaurant has also a beautiful old piano and a pianist playes on it . That was amazing. An atomsphere was very pleasant. People were nice . Staff was kind and very helpful. Local was elegant, in english climate and conditioned so people felt better as soon as they came in . It smelled nice. A lighting was mild , but everyone could see everything well . But that restaurant had pros and cons. A menu was limited- there were a lot of meals within meat and soups, but there were very few vegetarian meals . Wine was distasteful and so expensive that not everyone could afford it! Although the stuff was very kind, people had to wait for their meals long so they got little nervious. But that was the only one incident- most of clients were having a good time there. The restaurant was placed too close to the Krakowska street. There was big traffic there and people didn't like it. But people enjoyed it anyway. Generally the opening of the restaurant was successful.

Work of my dreams.

I think that in the future I will have a job connected with computers. I think that it is very interesting job and I have already talked with some people who work as computer experts. I want to work in telecommunication firm most. I think that computer science is developing very fast branch of science. I want to have in my job many changes all the time – a person who does this job knows new technologies all the time, he often goes to many different training courses and he solves many different problem – I think it is a very ambitious  job. I also want to have a job connected with travelling. I think it is very interesting when you travel to other countries, visit many interesting cities, places, know a lot of foreigners. If I had a chance to go to the USA or England for some months to work there – I would agree. Summing up, I think that many young people dream about their future job which they will have but they should realize that occupation give them not only money. What kind of job will I have in the future? I’ve just introduced my dreams. How would it be in reality?

Hobby

I always love to dance. It is a sport which everyone can enjoy.
Dance is and has always been my passion. It gives me the chance to express my emotions. When I was 7, I stared dance in folklore crew in my village and for this time it is a part of me and my life. But after a few years I wanted to try something else. So I started to train a ballroom dancing, but in short time I realized that this type of dance it isn’t exactly what I’m looking for. Then my friend told me about a group of people who dance hip hop, modern, house and also they tried to connected them.
When I heard about that I thought that it could be what I’m looking for. I dance in this crew since 2 years and this was a great time. I learned a lot but we didn’t have a regular group because of that we couldn’t spread. So I decided that I wanted something more. My trainer direct me on dance camp. At first I was afraid, because I had to go for two week to the strange city with a people who I didn’t know. But my trainer convinced me to go and it was a good decision. Every morning we running, train and dance different type of dance even a ballet what was very strange for me. I learned a lot and I met great people who help me not to give up. Unfortunately I can’t dance with them regular because they are trained in different city but when I have I free time I visit them.
Dancing involves hand eye coordination, timing, rhythm, technique and most of all your personality and emotion. I am very dedicated to dancing and I practice as often as I can.

Favourite series.

Many teenagers likes series is Gossip Girl. It shows us the world of rich and beautiful teenagers from the Upper East Side of New York . It seems like a perfect life but there is a bad side too. The series begins with the return of main character, Serena van der Woodsen, from boarding school in Connecticut. Blair Wardolf, who was her best friend before her departure, isn't so happy with that. When Serena was absent, Blair was the queen of the school so when she comes back her position was in danger.
