10 years ago a mobile phone was a luxury only few could afford. In today’s fast-paced world mobile means of communication are a necessity, not only in the professional sense, but also in private life. Work obligations force people to be available everywhere and all the time and a mobile phone is the easiest and cheapest way of maintaining contact. Private life is more and more dependant on mobile technology as means of communication migrate from offices and meeting rooms to private homes. Lack of immediate contact, especially for young people, might mean social ostracism.
To conclude, a mobile phone has become a necessity in today’s society, and its footsteps are already being followed by mobile internet, which will alter our lives even further.
