Should students be assessed by giving them marks at school?

Nowadays, students are assessed by giving them marks at school. But is it good for them? According to the recent research, almost 78 percent of learners are against this way of evaluation. I will try to show pros and cons of it.
Initially, I would like to bring forward faults of this problem. First of all, students often learn for degrees, not for them and their scholarship. But it is not fine. We should learn for us to have knowledge about surrounding us world. It is not important how we are assessed but what informations we have got.
Secondly, it is a huge stress for pupils. They study a lot to have a certificate with the distinction or to pass to the next class. Sometimes they do not carry off schooling, give in and sometimes they just break down. This pursuit of marks has not a helpful influence on students’ health.
But on the other hand this way of evaluation is also good for learners. The marks are feedback of our scholarship. Thanks to marks we find out about our progress. It is also a signal what is our weak point and what we should study more.
All things considered, there are more disadvantages of assess students by giving them marks. Students have to be assessed but not by degrees. In my opinion, the solution should be interposition a point system when pupils are assessed by points.
